Mike Manno
Mike Manno has had a varied career,
newspaper editor, real estate broker, politician, lawyer, writer, and educator.
Currently he is a practicing attorney in Central Iowa. When not practicing law,
Mike can be found teaching law and political science in one of the Des Moines
area's local colleges where he is in near constant demand as an adjunct faculty
member. In conjunction with his law practice, Mike also serves on the Polk
County District Court's Mediation Panel where he mediates civil and domestic
cases on court referral.
Mike is also in demand as a
seminar and continuing education speaker. He has appeared on seminar panels
dealing with a broad range of issues: from mental health commitments to small
business practices.
Before taking up his legal
career, Mike was a newspaper reporter and editor in several Iowa cities, a real
estate broker, and a member of the Davenport (Iowa) City Council. He currently
serves as a member of the board of directors of First Iowa Community Credit Union,
and is involved in many other church and civic activities.

Luanne Johannsen of Durant, Iowa
