Lawrence

My name is Larry Smith and I live in Columbia, Maryland. I’ve been writing for about eight years, mostly romance, mostly historical. I self published my first novel through LuLu.com and learned tons about the business of writing in the process. ‘Angel’ was a big hit with readers. The sequel ‘Survivors’ followed in the Fall of 2005. I am currently working on a more contemporary piece (romantic in nature of course) with a thrilling backdrop wrapped around the intrigue of alternative energy sources. I'm stalled on the rewrite, but its still a great story and I hope to finish it soon.

When I’m not writing I tinker in the garage. I' currently workin on a complete rebuild of my old Frazer Nash kit car. This time, modernizing the whole thing with a Harley Davidson motorcycle engine for power. I keep a photo log at http://www.volksrods.com

Every summer we make an excursion to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where I dabble in sandcastles and sand sculptures. After this years excitement in the sand, I’m considering writing a ‘How To’ book on building sandcastles.

Seems like I've always got to be making something.
