Christmas at our house is about collecting and making villages and nativity sets. I saw a candy church in 1957 in a magazine and built it. From there it grew until at last count there were 27 houses in our village. |
When my two sons were small children it was great fun to break up the candy houses and share them with the neighborhood children. But as the years passed and sugar became a no-no we learned we could store them a year or two which was a better solution | |
I retired
the village in 2001 and now collect Dept 56 and Santons. But every year at
Christmas Time we consider the great revival. |
